BEAT School of Music

Emmanuelworship is excited to announce the launch of the 'emmanuelworship BEAT School of Music' in 2010. The school will run from the 8-12 January in Brisbane.

The BEAT School of Music is designed to gather Catholic musicians and vocalists for four jam-packed, fun days of learning and growing in both ability & worship. The BEAT will train and cast vision for contemporary Catholic music in the Church. There are a bunch of great presenters from emmanuelworship and beyond who will be involved in the practical training and formation.

The registrations are now open, so check out the website for more details and to register. This will be an incredible experience and we look forward to seeing Catholic musicians rise up to lead this generation in Worship.

Already one year since Australia hosted the biggest event the country has seen – World Youth Day 08.

Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims packed the streets of Sydney for one of the most exciting, enthusiastic and spiritual events of their lifetime.

To remember and reflect on those days there will be a First Year Youth Day Anniversary Mass at Sydney’s St Mary’s Cathedral, celebrated by Archbishop Cardinal George Pell.

It will be on Monday 20 July at 6.30pm AEST and streamed LIVE on the Sydney Archdiocese web site www.sydneycatholic.org

Our special soloist will be 15 year old schoolboy Mark Vincent who is already attracting wonderful reviews both in Australia and overseas.
