I saw this article in a news feed and thought it's a pretty good read. Eric Sammons shares his online experience when debating or discussing or even just commenting on Christian issues/values/apologetics. He simply summed it up as
"Rules of Engagement for Catholics on the Internet".
- Always remember the superiority of the real world over the virtual world.
- Your salvation is more important than your involvement on the Internet.
- Don't ever say anything on the Internet that you wouldn't say in person.
- Don't write anything in anger.
- Don't stereotype people.
- Take at least one day off a week from the Internet.
- Always assume the good intentions of others.
- Remember who the real Enemy is.
- Remember that God resists the proud.
- Don't just go to Catholic sites.
